TEMPUS Program

Tempus is a program established by the European Union in order to support the development of relationships between European universities and universities from neighbouring countries that take part in the program. Furthermore, the program’s goal is to improve higher education at universities in European and in other partner countries by funding cooperation projects in the areas of curriculum development and innovation, teacher training, university management, and structural reforms.

The Cairo University E-Learning Center (CUELC) is one of the projects within the Tempus program and comprises activities in the field of lifelong learning and e-learning in cooperation between Cairo University and RWTH Aachen.
